We make science accessible to a wider audience.

Bord&Stift Academia was named after the Greek ‘Platonic Academy’

“The Academy (Ancient Greek: Ἀκαδημία) was founded by Plato in ca. 387 BC in Athens. His goal was to introduce philosophy to young Athenian civilians.”

We make hand drawn whiteboard films for a broad range of companies and organisations. In our films, large quantities of complex information can be explained in a way that is clear and accessible.

That’s why such films are also of interest to academics and other researchers.
Examples:
• an imaginative presentation of research results
• a thesis summary in three minutes
• or playful supporting material for MOOC’s

Most of our text writers, designers and editors have a university degree, in either science or humanities. And they would be so happy to use their academic skills for our films.

Check out these films that we have made for knowledge institutions so far.
